Accessibility Statement

AI Engineers Academy is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, in compliance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

1. Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We regularly test our platform with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and automated accessibility tools.

2. Features

• Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
• Color contrast: Text meets WCAG AA requirements for contrast ratios
• Responsive design: Works on all screen sizes from 320px (iPhone SE) to desktop
• Read aloud: Anker TTS reads course content and chat responses using a neural voice (Piper, runs locally)
• Themes: 6 color themes including light and dark mode for different visual needs
• Text size: Adjustable text size (normal, large, largest) via the chat panel

3. Known Limitations

Known limitations: The AI assistant (Anker) requires WebGPU (Chrome 113+, Edge 113+). Read aloud requires downloading a ~65MB voice model. Exam forms are not yet optimized for screen readers. We are continuously working on improvements.
